A man in Virginia states the obvious (sorry, no link)
“If you are an American citizen and of legal age, you have the right to vote. This right requires government to give notice of elections; make polls accessible and open throughout the appointed day; maintain the integrity and completeness of voter rolls; record and count all legal votes; publish the results in a timely manner. What this right does not require is every possible personal convenience. Election protection helps prevent legal votes being cancelled by cheaters and elections being rigged by powerful interests. A protected vote requires some effort, but considerably less than applying for a gun permit or a day at the DMV.”
