Probably better off not calling either. If the cops show up in time (a low probability event in itself) they are almost as likely to shoot, taze, beat, and/or arrest the innocent party.
With every bone of my body I want to be on the side of the cops; sadly, personal experience and the evidence of my own eyes is telling me differently. At some point the militarization and the SWAT mentality reached a tipping point… and the ‘us against them’ mentality has mostly taken over. One has to wonder – if the crunch comes- how many will be good soldiers and ‘just follow orders’?
