It just gets better

The One just on TV. Weak. Shifty eyes. I hope he’s realizing he’s toast.

Peggy Noonan follows on FNC.  Describes Obama and Clinton as distancing themselves, “shying away from the higher meaning” of this event. Honey, they realize that with the death of our ambassador their political careers went up in smoke! Then she goes on to say, “I was thinking as he spoke, I think I belong to the old school of thinking- that in times of great drama and heightened crisis and in times when something violent has happened to your people, I always think that discretion is the better way to go. When you step forward in the midst of a political enviroment and start giving statements on something dramatic and violent that has happened, you’re always leaving yourself open to accusations that you are trying to exploit things politically. I don’t think Mr. Romney has been doing himself any favors…”

Romney’s statement

I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi.

It’s disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.

Sounds like speaking truth to power to me. Ms. Noonan, you are such a hack.

Twitchy posts deleted Embassy tweets.

(Reuters) – The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a U.S.-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammad.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

“The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims â?? as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of other”

Got their widdle feelings hurt. People died.

The Americans were targeted in an attack in their car, trying to move to a safer venue away from the violent protests that erupted at the U.S. Consulate, Reuters reported. Stevens died of suffocation, while the three other personnel were killed by gunshot wounds, CBS News reports.

When’s the NFL on again? Who is ‘Bama playing this weekend?

Is anyone in charge?

U.S. Embassy in Egypt is attacked, flag pulled down and ripped up, Al-Quaeda flag hoisted. Embassy apologizes for free speech hurting Muslim feelings.

The Lightbringer appears with “Pimp With A Limp”.

U. S. Consulate attacked in Libya; Ambassador and others killed.

The One announces Letterman visit.

Netanyahu begs White House for a meeting, is told to ‘wait’.

Is anyone seeing a pattern here? Does anyone even care? Part of me wants to rant and rave, but the biggest part of me is just quietly disgusted and ashamed. We have fallen so far, and as near as I can tell, the vast majority of folks in this misbegotten country think no more of a Presidential election and what it truly means than they think of an episode of ‘American Idol’.

Hope you’re happy when the thugs in jackboots and the fanatics with Korans come for you; it’s a dead heat as to which will get you first.

I spit on every one of you that helped elect this pathetic fool we call the President.
